As part of the celebrations held during our Annual Familiarisation tour this year, we joined together with our partners in international education to celebrate with a formal dinner. Along side our distinguished guests the students currently studying in Level 5 were invited to join the evening. As they had not experienced a western style formal dinner they were all very excited about participating.
During the evening three students, Thi Minh Chau Le, Vietnam, Junki Takino, Japan and Steffan, Tsz Fung Ki from Hong Kong, bravely gave their first public speech in English to loud applause. All students who attended proudly demonstrated the growth in their English skills, maturity and confidence during the evening while sitting along side their future Principals, distinguished local guests, visiting agents from Brisbane and overseas, NIC Board members and staff.
