Celebrating our partnership in International Education

As part of the celebrations held during our Annual Familiarisation tour this year, we joined together with our partners in international education to celebrate with a formal dinner. Along side our distinguished guests the students currently studying in Level 5 were invited to join the evening. As they had not experienced a western style formal dinner they were all very excited about participating.

During the evening three students, Thi Minh Chau Le, Vietnam, Junki Takino, Japan and Steffan, Tsz Fung Ki from Hong Kong, bravely gave their first public speech in English to loud applause. All students who attended proudly demonstrated the growth in their English skills, maturity and confidence during the evening while sitting along side their future Principals, distinguished local guests, visiting agents from Brisbane and overseas, NIC Board members and staff.

The evening was throughly enjoyed by all who attended.

2008 Agents Familiarisation Tour

Our Agent familiarisation tour for 2008 was held from 27 April to 4 May. During this time we were delighted to have our agents here with us to showcase our school, facilities and partners. The Principals of our partner High Schools and the International staff from our University partners offered their very valuable time and presented their institution, staff and students to our local and overseas visitors, showcasing their uniqueness and individualism. Each visit was completed with a tour of the facilities together with many photo opportunities. The action packed week concluded with a fun time on the beautiful Gold Coast followed by many sad goodbyes!
